Introducing…Grow, Social

INTRODUCING…GROW, SOCIAL

There has never been a better time to bring people together. Here at Grow, we’ve always been dedicated to welcoming different groups into our space, to create, collaborate and connect. As the winter draws closer, and Grow gets cosier, now feels like a perfect time to reach out to more groups, more people and more communities to enjoy sharing space. Every month, we dedicate one night to hosting free and engaging events for every skill level and interest. Whether attending in a group or alone, coming to dip your toes in or taking the lead, come along and let us know what you think.

THE JOURNEY SO FAR

Grow, Social was built from the same vision as our organisation: to provide space for creatives and communities of all backgrounds to come together and thrive. In January, we started our Join In January campaign; a widely successful campaign, where Grow became a free-entry venue for the entire month, running numerous community-focused events. Since then, we started the ‘Monthly-Meetup’ event series to open up our venue to various groups and communities to hold meetings, activities and workshops open to all members of the public in our space on the last Wednesday of the month.

GROWING MORE SOCIAL FOR 2024

In 2024 we are expanding our mission. Grow Social will provide more opportunities,  reach more people and have more impact. Underpinned by our values of: creativity, collaboration and community, this monthly event series will facilitate the progress of emerging groups and enable more people to participate in social events. But why wait until then? Our first Grow, Social was on the 29th of November and saw the venue packed with 100+ members of the public, trying out Frankie’s chess club, celebrating Panoramics magazine launch, and getting crafty with Scarletts Green-zine making workshop and Rachels stitch club.

Our events are always free and always welcome to newcomers. To join in, stay up to date with our
events calendar, and follow us on Instagram. If you are interested in hosting an activity, get in touch with Sian, from the events and marketing team.
