ABOUT LARGE BOOKINGS
Gatherings are limited to 30 people and last 3 hours from the start time (unless otherwise arranged.)
The latest start time for large group bookings is 7pm. We like to have our group bookings accommodated well in advance of our busy event hours, to make sure we can give you the attention you deserve.
We book tables to act as a base rather than for seating your whole party. (eg for a booking of 20, we may reserve 2 tables of 8 for you.) We find there is rarely a time when the entire party is seated and, being a community based experiment in ethical & sustainable business, putting people and planet over profit, we like and need to share our space with as many guests as possible. This means not leaving seats empty when there could be happy customers filling them!
COSTS
Reservations are free to make, however in order to maintain our business we will need to take card details at time of booking and we reserve the right to charge a fee of £25 per table and/or give away your tables for any of the following reasons;
No one from the party arrives within 15 mins of booking start time
a significant proportion of your party have not arrived within 45 mins of booking time
failure to check-in with the team for your booking at the bar
cancellations / alterations made with less than 48 hours notice
(All alterations to timings and no. of guests need to be confirmed min. 48 hrs in advance via email through reservations@growhackney.co.uk and NOT via phone. Unfortunately as we are a busy community based bar and rely on income from customers purchasing food / drink, we are often unable to accommodate last minute changes. If your group is running more than 15 minutes late on the day, we may need to give your tables away to customers already in the venue.)
We’re happy to explore the option to prepay for drinks on arrival if you state this in your enquiry form.

This form is for booking requests for groups of between 9-30 guests. If you would like to book a table for up to 8 people, please visit Book a Table
This form is for enquiries only, completion does not infer confirmation of booking
We book tables to act as a base rather than for seating your whole party. You will not be able to take seats from other tables. If you would like all your party to eat at the beginning of the reservation, please state this in the enquiry form
As a community venue, we do not like to promote exclusive use of any of our spaces, so always make bookings as tables rather than entire areas e.g greenhouse or mezzanine
We reserve the right to charge a fee of £25 per table and/or give away your tables for any of the following reasons: no-shows, late arrivals, missed check-ins and late cancellations
We accept specific table requests and do our best to fulfil them but are unable to guarantee on every occasion
This is an all weather-venue so please come prepared as not every outdoor spot has cover or heating
I have checked the events listings to see the details of what events are happening that day
Any guests arriving after 9pm on event nights will need to join the general admissions queue and pay the door cover fee if applicable. Entry is not guaranteed if we reach capacity
You will not be able to play your own music or bring your own food and drink.
