Canalside Sessions with Williams Cumberbache is a regular weekend treat that brings world-class live music right to Hackney Wick.
ABOUT THE EVENT
Every Sunday afternoon from 1-4 pm, master conga player Williams Cumberbache, with over 30 years in the UK music scene and collaborations with legends like Goldie and Björk. Each week Williams will be joined by special guest bands bringing amazing live music to Hackney Wick every week with something different.
Ideal for families, friends, and music lovers alike and even your dog will enjoy this uplifting experience which is all about connection, relaxation, and the joy of live music—an essential part of Grow’s vibrant community.

This week’s special guest joining Williams Cumberbache on the canalside pontoon is Mouad Neghma, bandleader of Neghma Band, a London-based Moroccan group who brings the ancient sound of Moroccan Gnawa music into the present, fusing it with jazz.
