ABOUT THE EVENT
Every Sunday afternoon from 1-4 pm, master conga player Williams Cumberbache, with over 30 years in the UK music scene and collaborations with legends like Goldie and Björk. Each week Williams will be joined by special guest bands bringing amazing live music to Hackney Wick every week with something different.

This all-star quartet represents a living Venn diagram within the London jazz scene. Their shared history spans collaborative projects like the Patchwork Jazz Orchestra, Di-Cysgodion, Surface Tension, and the Seven Steps Big Band, co-anchored by 2018 Dankworth Composition Prize-winning composers Billy Marrows and Luke Bainbridge.
While all four members are active bandleaders and composers in their own right, this lineup brings them together for a high-energy set of heavy grooves and open improvisation. Their wider collective performance credits include Snarky Puppy, the Scottish National Jazz Orchestra, Gruff Rhys, the James Taylor Quartet and Docklands Sinfonia.
