Canalside Sessions with Williams Cumberbache is a regular weekend treat that brings world-class live music right to Hackney Wick.
ABOUT THE EVENT
Every Sunday afternoon from 1-4 pm, master conga player Williams Cumberbache, with over 30 years in the UK music scene and collaborations with legends like Goldie and Björk. Each week Williams will be joined by special guest bands bringing amazing live music to Hackney Wick every week with something different.

Everywhere At Once is a nationwide festival bringing hundreds of grassroots music venues together across Glastonbury weekend, from 26 to 28 June 2026. SPECIAL GUEST – TUMBAITO PLUS SPECIAL GUESTS
Tumbaito are the resident band of Canalside Sessions, led by host of canalside sessions and percussionist Williams Cumberbache, who hosts the series and joins each guest band as they play. Rooted in Afro-Latin rhythm, salsa, jazz, funk and Caribbean groove, Tumbaito bring the generous, high-energy sound that sits at the heart of these Sundays by the water.
