For this edition of Grow Live, we bring together three artists moving through live performance and club culture in their own distinct ways, building a night that gradually unfolds before tipping fully into dance.

ABOUT THE EVENT

Franz Von headlines, a Jamaican-born, UK-based artist whose work bridges hip hop, afrofusion and live band energy. Known for his role in TC & The Groove Family and K.O.G & The Zongo Brigade, his sound pulls from African lineage through to modern club forms, delivered with real presence and control.

Opening the night, Michael Sebastian presents a live set ahead of his forthcoming album Suggestions for The Dancefloor and headline show at Village Underground. Blending electronic, jazz and global influences, his performances are built around live looping and improvisation, easing the room in with warmth and intention.

Closing the night, Last Nubian takes things firmly into club territory. A key part of the Eglo Records orbit, with releases and collaborations tied to Alex Nut’s label, his sound sits at the intersection of house, bruk, jazz and UK club rhythm. Expect a set that’s fluid but driving, rooted in London’s dancefloor language and built to carry the room late.
