GROW WINTER WARMER PARTY W/ ONE DRUM & TINA EDWARDS (WORLDWIDE FM) // LIVE AFRO JAZZ FUSION & MORE

  • Grow 98c Wallis Road London, England, E9 5LN United Kingdom (map)

This event is made possible by korev – St Austell Brewery’s flagship lager.

Born in Cornwall, korev is pale gold like the morning sun, fresh and crisp like a sea breeze, and as invigorating as the waves crashing against our shores. Head to the korev bar and experience the coast in a glass. Drink it all in.

We celebrate the changing of the seasons and getting through what’s been a challenging year (or 2) with a party featuring a huge line up of entertainment including Tina Edwards (Worldwide FM) & live Afro Jazz fusion band, One Drum Africa. This event happens after our eco market, The Future Fair, which runs from 1 till 6.

£5 after 10pm

Check out this playlist that Tina has prepared for us ahead of the party!

A master drummer who's collaborated with the late CREAM drummer, Ginger Baker and Van Morrison, brings his Afro Jazz fusion project, One-Drum to Grow.

Abass Dodoo fuses traditional Ghanaian Highlife beats with funk, blues and jazz. Adding chanted vocals, complex intersecting rhythms, and percussion in to the mix.

Tina Edwards is at a forefront of the genre-dispelling Jazz scene, recognised for presenting her distinctive tastes to listeners around the world on Worldwide FM. Her sets put modern Jazz at the forefront, accented by house, world, electronic and left-field pop. Tina has played in various cities across the world from Chicago to Singapore, and has shared line-ups with contemporaries including Tash LC, Henry Wu and Alexis Blondel.

This event will be entirely indoors but our terrace will be open till 10pm, click here for full details on what your experience at Grow will be like
