It is cold, it is dark, and January is tempting you to hibernate, but we are here to bring some brightness back. With New Year's resolutions settling in and Christmas bills arriving, we know it is not always easy to get out and enjoy yourself.
That is why, all month long, Grow is opening its doors for free and hosting a full lineup of events to lift you out of the winter slump. Expect cosy corners, heated and covered outdoor spots, DJs, live music and plenty of soft and alcohol free choices for anyone taking on Dry Jan. You can enjoy the party your own way without worrying about the cost, while also supporting an independent space through the toughest month for hospitality.

Bring your crochet, knitting, sewing, rug-making, origami – whatever you love to make – and hang out in a relaxed, creative setting. Run by Rachel of Stitch in Hackney, this gathering is open to everyone, whatever your level or craft of choice.
For this special Join In January edition, we’re joined by craft artist Verity Jones, who invites you to connect through craft - no pressure, no prior experience needed, just making alongside others. Verity will provide all materials, so just bring yourself and get crafty!
