MARLA KETHER PRESENTS: KILENGI DANCE PARTY (AFRO HOUSE, BAILE FUNK, DEMBOW, UK FUNKY, GLOBAL CLUB SOUNDS)

  • Grow 98c Wallis Road London, England, E9 5LN United Kingdom (map)

Due to the success of Kilengi in Bristol, we're very excited to be bringing the party to London.

ABOUT THE EVENT

Kilengi is a club night curated by DJ, bassist and producer Marla Kether. Each instalment sees some of the UK's finest DJs bringing a fresh selection of afrodiasporic bass music from South America, the UK, Lisbon, the Caribbean and beyond.

For lovers of: Dancehall • Garage • 140 • Afro House • Baile Funk • Dembow • Afrobeats • Kuduro • Global Bass

‘Kilengi’ means joy in Koutouba, one of the languages native to Congo. It’s a dance party guarantee that a night shaking ass with us will leave you feeling euphoric, revitalised and a lil bit sweaty. All we ask in exchange is that you respect your fellow party goers. We want this to be a safe space for everyone.

Now without further ado, meet the DJs:
