Sweetnighter is a monthly party in London created by SweetNightJoe, aka Joseph Russell. It’s a celebration of music and connection through the warmth of vinyl—an open dancefloor for global grooves: disco, jazz, funk, soul, and beyond, all played strictly on wax.

ABOUT THE EVENT

This July edition marks our first-ever summer party, and we couldn’t ask for a better spot than Grow in Hackney Wick, right by the beautiful canal!

We’re thrilled to welcome back Stump Valley for their third appearance at Sweetnighter, alongside a new addition to the family: Curcio, an incredible DJ and selector from Italy, known for his residency at the acclaimed Soul Express collective.

We’re kicking things off outside by the canal with a special 4-hour DJ set from Curcio, starting at 6pm. At 10pm, we move the party indoors, where Stump Valley and SweetNightJoe go back-to-back until 3am.

Dancing is a magical and liberating ritual.

ENTRY INFORMATION

We highly recommend arriving early to enjoy the outdoor vibes, sunshine.There are very limited pre-sale tickets on RA for £5/7 (entry before 10pm) or free entry before 9pm. After 9pm it’s £10 on the door. Please note: queues are likely after 11pm.

BOOKING A TABLE

There is no seating for the performance but you can book tables up until 8pm in other areas of the venue to enjoy food and drink and still enjoy the event in the main area. If you don’t book in advance, arriving early is recommended as tables are on a first-come-first-served basis.
