LIVE JAZZ ON THE CANAL W/ STRATOS

Led by the Mercury Prize nominated Rio Kai, Stratos take us on a voyage through classic & modern Jazz every Thursday at Grow!

Stratos features Rio Kai, Boris Latinov, Jamie Murray & Dom Pusey.

Book an indoor table with the soundtrack of incredible live Jazz and enjoy Middle Eastern inspired food from the kitchen. We reserve 60% of our tables for walk up customers so if you can’t book a table, still feel free to come down.

Entry £6 per person to book a premium table and £5 for advance tickets with no table assigned and for walk ups.

To book a table, click on the widget to the right and select the date of the event and pick your time. On event days we accept bookings till 7.45pm. There are a limited amount of tables available to book of varying sizes and there are plenty of spaces available for walk ups on any event day, it is recommended to arrive early to get a table with a good view of the act.

Following the Government's 'Plan B' announcement on 8 December, we will be adjusting our policies and procedures in line with Government guidance

Please note: from Friday 17th, should you wish to stay in the venue after 1am, you will need to provide evidence of double vaccination via the NHS app OR a proof of a negative lateral flow result.

Please read below what you can expect from us and what we expect from you before you come to Grow.

What can you expect from Grow

  • The team will wear face coverings when inside and/or serving & talking to customers

  • We will partake in scheduled lateral flow testing

  • Sanitiser provision in the venue and recommend you use on this on entry

  • We offer a pre table booking service via opentable which means table service when ordering via the Grow, Hackney app for those who want to guarantee a seated area to act as a base and food and drink served to them.

  • Doors will be kept open where possible and when busy all times (even if a bit chilly) to help fresh air flow and ventilation

  • We have installed of a filtration system indoors to reduce the airborne pathogen risk

  • We continue to allocate extra time for cleaning

  • We will update the events calendar with any specific information you need to know

What we expect from you

  • Do not come to Grow if experiencing symptoms of Covid-19 , believe you have been exposed to the virus, or if required to be in isolation

  • We recommend that before you come to the venue you do all that you can to help avoid the transmission of the virus, this includes: i) vaccination ii) taking a lateral flow test iii) registering you are immune (because of previous infection. We are part of the Music Venue Trust #takeatest initiative which urges music fans to accept responsibility to keep themselves, their fellow gig-goers safe and the staff at music venues safe as restrictions are lifted.

  • We recommend you download the NHS Track and Trace App and scan as you enter the venue

  • We recommend you wear face coverings when moving around the venue , especially when inside; ordering at bar or talking to the Grow Team

  • Wash hands regularly and sanitise your hands on entry and whilst moving around the venue

  • If you are coming to a specific event, please check details on the relevant events page to understand the event and assess risks to yourself and your party 

  • Read and understand the T&Cs of your booking before you book

Food & Drink

Our Spice Trail Menu is predominantly plant based, with some ethically sourced meat options, as part of our conscious drive towards sustainability. Our passion is for the cooking of the Middle East and southern Mediterranean so expect punchy flavours, warm spices and as always the best ingredients we can find to comfort and nourish the soul.  

With our drinks, we partner with breweries St Austell and Signature Brew for our lagers and IPAs and serve organic wine and prosecco which help international wildlife charity, Born Free. We design our own drinks such as Vegan Hemp White Russian and homemade Hackney Spiced Rum and serve Kompassion Kombucha brewed in Grow Studios.
