ABOUT THE NIGHT & DJS
They’ll be performing music from Alina’s stunning new album Whispers of Rain (Tru Thoughts, July 2025), the internationally acclaimed harpist and legendary saxophonist Tony Kofi reunite to perform the album live in full, in what promises to be an intimate and powerful set.
Alina’s expressive harp and electronics meet Tony’s soulful saxophone and percussion in a soundscape that is both cinematic and deeply moving, blending jazz tradition with bold improvisation and contemporary textures.

Tony Kofi is widely regarded as one of the UK’s leading saxophonists. His powerful, commanding tone and masterful technique have made him a staple on the British jazz scene for decades. A former member of the Jazz Warriors, Tony has played with jazz legends such as Ornette Coleman and Abdullah Ibrahim, and collaborated with a wide range of artists including Macy Gray, Courtney Pine and Harry Connick Jr. He has won multiple BBC Jazz Awards, a MOBO and the Parliamentary Jazz Award for Best Instrumentalist. Known for his dynamic live performances and deep connection to the jazz tradition, Tony brings both fire and soul to every note he plays.
