  • Grow 98c Wallis Road London, England, E9 5LN United Kingdom (map)

Get ready for a night of deep rhythms and global dance energy. Berber Diffusion bring the sounds of Amazigh and Gnawa traditions into the modern world, taking the grooves from the Sahara and presenting it live in the heart of East London.

ABOUT THE EVENT

A very special vinyl only DJ set from Rammon Berlin spinning soulful disco, funk, jazz, and rare grooves to dance the night away. A cultural meeting point in London's diverse melting pot!

Berber Diffusion are the UK’s first traditional Amazigh band, bringing the deep-rooted sounds of North Africa to London’s live music scene. Blending Amazigh pentatonic scales with hypnotic Gnawa rhythms, they carry forward a musical tradition born in the Sahara - one that has survived generations through travelling musicians, storytelling, and ceremony.

Led by founder and frontman Abdellah Rais, a multi-instrumentalist trained under masters across Morocco, the band fuses banjo, guembri, qraqab, and drums into a powerful, modern expression of ancestral sound. Their performances are electric, joyful, and impossible to stand still to. They join us for an extended set on the 11th April.

Rammon is a seasoned selector with over 15 years behind the decks and a deep love for vinyl culture. A record store owner at Greenwich market, his personality and selections always draw music enthuasiasts from across the city. He's also the founder of a renowned Berlin club and part of the Constanța Funk Collective, known for curating dancefloors that feel soulful, global, and effortlessly cool.
