Celebrating 8 Years of Grow, Hackney

It's been 8 magical years that our independent canal side creative space has been operating and we're celebrating on July 16!

We'd like to thank all all our partners, artists, musicians, DJ's, community groups and customers who've participated in our little experiment in ethical and sustainable business over the years! We must be doing something right, as this past year has been our best yet!

We journey through time with this best of video from the past 8 years.

From 1 till 8pm, we’ll be hosting our Eco Market, the Future Fair out in the yard, accompanied by DJs and live performances and a guest magician! Williams Cumberbatch will be supplying live conga rhythms during the day to get us in the mood and a mix of Grow’s DJ friends and family will be warming up the venue ahead of a live performance from an incredible band.

As the sun goes down, Drum Heads will take the stage! This incredible band set up in 2009 made up of the most advanced players coming through the Drum Works school workshops. Then from 10.30, Worldwide FM DJ, Tina Edwards, is on the decks to take us to 2am!

This event is helped made possible by our partners Korev – St Austell Brewery’s flagship lager. There will be giveaways on the day courtesy of them!

Born in Cornwall, Korev is pale gold like the morning sun, fresh and crisp like a sea breeze, and as invigorating as the waves crashing against our shores. Head to the Korev bar and experience the coast in a glass. Drink it all in.
